Orpheus Club Men's Chorus members Mitchell Shapiro and Sam Shaw are among dozens of singers, throughout the world, who contributed to a choral rendition of the Ukrainian National Anthem. The video was organized by Valerie Samn. Lyrics by Pavlo Chubynsky (1862), music by Mykhailo Verbytsky (1863), and arranged by Tim Ribchester (2022). Here are the lyrics translated into English (also shown in the video): Ukraine's glory has not yet died. Nor her freedom. Upon us, my young brothers, fate shall yet smile. Our enemies will perish, like dew in the morning sun. And we too shall rule, brothers, in our own land. Souls and bodies we'll lay down, all for our freedom. And we'll show that we, brothers, are of the Kozak nation. Souls and bodies we'll lay down, all for our freedom. And we'll show that we, brothers, are of the Kozak nation.
