  • Town: Oakland, NJ

  • Singing part: Tenor 2

  • How did you first hear about Orpheus?

“I heard about Orpheus from my church friends. My wife passed away in 2015, and I felt I needed purpose in my life.

"I was singing in my church choir and I felt my voice should be heard. I met another wonderful, beautiful woman named Barbara. I needed to sing to her.”

  • How long have you been singing with Orpheus, and how long in general?

“I’ve been singing tenor 2 with Orpheus since 2016.

“I’ve been singing and playing a musical instrument since I was 12. I went to college for two years.

"I was in the Navy as a clarinetist and singer.

"I also sang in my church choir!”

  • Can you share a favorite choral song?

“Some of the fun songs that come to  mind are Salutation (Hail, Friends of Music) and The Longest Time.”
