The Orpheus Club
The Roland L. Meyer Orpheus Club Scholarship

For the past several years, the Orpheus Club has been proud to sponsor a scholarship program designed to honor and assist a graduating high school student who has demonstrated extraordinary accomplishment in music and who intends to continue musical studies on the collegiate level.

We are pleased to announce that the winner of the 2009 Scholarship is Ryan Kelley from Montclair, NJ. A senior at Montclair High School, he has been an active member of the Honors Choir and the Madrigal Choir. He will be heard on a gospel album, "I came to Glorify" which is scheduled to be released by Unidersal Records in June 2009. Equally interested in the production side of music, he attended the New York University Summer Institute of Music Technology in 2008. committed to community service, Ryan has served as a member of the St. Paul Baptist church Willing Workers Committee and has performed missionary work in South Africa.
